8496m. (souvenir dish) Chatham Twin Lights, Chatham, Mass. c.1900. A lovely, bright, gilt decorated commemorative dish in white, features a large, detailed, clear b/w image of the twin “Chatham Lights” in Chatham, Mass. The superb piece measures about 5 3/8” in diameter with fluited sides, and is enhanced by a beautiful decorative gilt trim around edges. The unusually detailed image includes all aspects of the two iron light towers, the clipped-gable keeper’s dwelling and out-buildings. Labeled “Made in Germany for S. Rogers & Son, Chatham, Mass.” Very clean, no cracks or checks, some expected very light wear. A very detailed, pretty little item for your display. Chatham lighthouse china pieces are quite rare and in great demand. Unusually attractive piece. (VG). $84.
