An interesting vintage view of the area, with many wonderful vintage photos including The Old Cross Rip Lightship, Great Point Light, Sankaty Head Light, Old Lighthouse at Brant Point, many whalers and try works, the lifesavers landing in the surf, numerous old shops and dwellings and more. With a great deal of historical background of the island and businesses, interesting reading. Overall clean, light bumping to corners, moderate foxing to first and last pages. Good early copy.
