1675. (photo) Plum Island Lighthouse, New York c.1950-1970. Official Coast Guard photo measures 8” x 10” and provides an excellent, clear, close view of the charming stone keeper’s house and light tower. The stone mid-Victorian style lighthouse that still stands was built in 1870. The style is very similar to several other lighthouses built about the same time: Block Island North Light in Rhode Island, Great Captain Island Light, Sheffield Island Light and Morgan Point Light in Connecticut, and Field Point Light in New York. Great view for framing. Clear, crisp. (VG+). $42.
