29301. Lincoln, Joseph C. Cape Cod Stories. Wake-Brook House. Nd. c.1972. Cloth wraps. 291p. Numbered No. 42 of 250 copies. This collection of eleven short stories was originally published by A.S.Barnes Co., in 1907, under the title “The Old Home House”. In 1912 it was reprinted by A.L. Burt Co., with the title changed to “Cape Cod Stories”. This edition was in 1972 reprinted by Wake-Brook House with this same title, in a distinctive hand-crafted binding using varied fabrics. Stories included are: Two Pairs of Shoes, The Count and the Manager, The South Shore Weather Bureau, The Dog Star, The Mare and the Motor, The Mark on the Door, The Love of Lobelia ‘Ankins, The Antiquers, The Meanness of Rosy, His Native Heath, and Jonesy. 6” x 9”. The front fly leaf contains a dedication and is price-clipped, only light wear, but is otherwise in very good condition. (VG). $38.
