Climate Change Updated – New Web Site by former NOAA Scientists

Welcome to Kenrick A. Claflin & Son

Featured on our web site and in our monthly web catalogues are new and out-of-print books, documents, post cards, photographs, maps and charts, engravings, lithographs, uniforms and insignia, tools, lamps, lens apparatus, equipment and apparatus and much more relating to these heroic services.

We now issue most of our catalogues on line rather than by mail. This allows us to issue more catalogues and feature more items, with better photos and descriptions. Let us know your email address and we will email you monthly as our catalogues are posted.

Climate Change Updated – New Web Site by former NOAA Scientists

“When the government closed the door on climate data, the scientists built a new one.

For nearly 15 years, Climate.gov served as the ultimate “front door” for authoritative, easy-to-understand U.S. climate information. But after federal workforce cuts eliminated its staff and shut down daily operations, that crucial public resource was lost, leaving vital data scattered across government servers.

The scientists didn’t give up.

Former NOAA employees have officially launched Climate.us—an independent, nonprofit website designed to protect public scientific information from political disruption and make it accessible to everyone once again.

Here is what you need to know about the new platform:

Built by the Experts: Created by former Climate.gov staff, nonprofit partners, and volunteer scientists.

Crowdfunded: Over 2,500 people contributed $250,000 to help fund the launch.

Fact-Checked: More than 80 scientific experts review the material to ensure total accuracy.

The Dashboard is Back: It fully restores the iconic climate dashboard tracking CO2, global temperatures, Arctic ice, and sea levels.

Strictly Nonpartisan: Just like its predecessor Climate.us Home simply explains what the scientific evidence shows, without pushing any political policies.

Raw data is useless without the experts who organize and explain it. By launching Climate.us Home these scientists are ensuring that trusted, factual climate information remains free and accessible to the public—no matter the political climate.

Visit the new site at Climate.us Home to explore the data, and share this post to help spread the word!”
