8341yyy. (small bread plate) United States Revenue Cutter Service “U.S.R.C.S.” Dinnerware. Scarce, original United States Revenue Cutter Service small plate in the rust, blue/gray and pink “U.S. Revenue Cutter Service” flower pattern. Plate is back-marked with date code “D” and was manufactured by Greenwood China Company, Trenton N.J. This mark dates to 1886-1910. There are no other markings visible. Plate is quite attractive and is complete, no chips but two crossed closed age cracks visible from front and back, but plate is entirely intact. Otherwise with little if any expected wear. A wonderful piece, measures 6” diameter. (G+). $286.
