Newburyport . 1806. 46pp. Interesting discourse discusses the work of the society and particularly methods of restoring persons from drowning and apparent death. Speaks of the use of electricity to “excite the heart” and the use of bellows to inflate the lungs. Discusses the erection of Huts of Refuge, with complete list of members and funds expended. Wraps intact, slight moisture staining, contents very clean, tight. Nice copy. (VG). $100.
