- (lot 4 photos) Lightships Nantucket, Columbia, Relief, Diamond. Clear, close 8” x 10”, 7” x 9”, and 6” x 8” press photo shows great detail of this group of four lightships. Included are Nantucket LV-117 in the 1930’s before she was rammed by HMS Olympic in 1934, Relief Lightship WAL-505 in 1960 before she was rammed and sunk by SS Green Bay on Ambrose Station, Columbia Lightship WLV-604 in June 1988, and Diamond Lightship WAL-189 in August 1962 (Coast Guard photo). Most dated with credit line or description on back. Superb clear, close views. Nice lot. (VG+) $74.
