- (souvenir teapot) Old Mill at Nantucket, Built 1746”. c.1900. A bright, gilt decorated commemorative teapot in white, features a large, detailed, clear b/w image of the early griss mill at Nantucket. The superb piece measures about 5 ½” x 3” by 4” high, with spout and applied handle. The image is in b/w and is quite detailed. Labeled “Made in Germany for Miss P. Clisby, Nantucket 233”. Very clean, no cracks or checks, some wear to gilding on rim and handle. Likely had a cover at one time. A very detailed, pretty little item for your display. Nantucket china pieces are extremely rare. (VG). $78.
