Tipped in is a handwritten note by Frank Hackett presenting this booklet to a Mr. John Ward Dean Esq. New Castle is the smallest and most easternly town in New Hampshire, located on an island and includes the Jerry’s Point Life-Saving Station. Included is a 2-page article on the history of the station with notes of heroic rescues during the Great Gale of 1888. Good reading.
