Most unusual set features a detailed b/w image of the “three sisters” lighthouses and keeper’s house in Eastham on the saucer and the “Old Mill, Orleans, Mass. Built 1756”on a bold cup in this set. This early set is quite large and enhanced by a gilt borders and handle decoration. The cup measures 2 ” high by 3” in diameter. Saucer measures 5 1/8” in diameter. Marked “Made in England for J. H. Cummings, Orleans, Mass.”. Set is clean, bright, no chips or cracks, little if any wear. An unusually bright, bold set for display and an exceptionally rare form. (F-). $248 set.
