2539b. (uniform) U.S. Coast Guard Uniform, Khaki Jacket, Gunners Mate Rating. c.1943. Excellent cotton jacket with rating on arm, rating of Boatswain first class. Jacket has 3 buttons down the front and the bottom pockets are with buttoned flap. It has the left facing Boatswain’s Mate 1st Class rate on the right arm and a blue embroidered Coast Guard shield on the right cuff. Also two blue service stripes on left arm. Very good condition, no moth holes, some darkening from age. Without U.S. Coast Guard Clothing Depot tag, no size noted. Buttons are brass regulation Coast Guard. (VG+). $125.
