2388. [map folder] Snow, Edward Rowe. MAP OF ROMANTIC BOSTON BAY- The Shore Line from Salem Harbor to Scituate Harbor. Boston. nd. c.1950-60’s Scarce set in printed folder published by Mr. Snow contains one of his scarcer maps MAP OF ROMANTIC BOSTON BAY- The Shore Line from Salem Harbor to Scituate Harbor. Within the folder is an index to 150 locations noted on the map of Boston Bay. This One of Snow’s scarcer editions. Folder is packed with a number of other of his maps published for inclusion into his earlier books. Additional maps included here are two Map of United States Coast Guard Boston District from Famous Lighthouses of New England, in two different colors [black, blue], map of The Islands of Boston Harbor c.1962 [few spots] , and a small poster showing types of ships and their rigging, i.e. bark, schooner, yawl, brigantine, etc. Entire lot is in good condition, overall clean and crisp, as originally folded. This is an extremely rare lot published in the earlier years of Mr. Snow’s career. (VG+). $88 net.
