This is another volume in a series of photographic histories along the coasts of the United States . This compact volume features over 200 early photographs dating from the 1870’s through the 1940’s tracing the history of this most interesting coastal town. As expected, a great deal of the vintage photos and text chronicle the shipwrecks and Life-Saving Service along this stretch of coastline, as well as Scituate Lighthouse, and much more.
