 Large 16” x 22” map shows the 14 life-saving stations that existed at the time along the mainland coast between Cape Henri and Cape Hatteras. Stations are nicely marked with the appropriate station number noted. Also includes the major seacoast lights with their limits of visibility.

Map details the coastline nicely as well as the major roads, canals and railroad lines at the time. Scale 1” = 8 nautical miles. Map is based on the original, issued by the U.S. Life Saving Service in 1876 and would be quite desirable for reference or for framing. (M) $29.
