31065. Griffin, Matthew. Tales of Old Harbor. 2021.
31065. Griffin, Matthew. Tales of Old Harbor. 2021. Self published. 146p. Soft wraps. A fine collection of family stories of Depression Era Cape Cod. Matthew Griffin was born, raised, and has lived most of his life in Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He attended the University of Maine, Orono and received his B.A. in English & Creative Writing in 1999. He traveled through Europe, and lived and taught and was awarded his international TESL certificate in Prague. In the years between that and the publication of “Tales of Old Harbor” he was a shell-fisherman, mechanic, livery driver, and landscaper. He has finally added the title author to that list. “Tales of Old Harbor” is his first collection of short stories. He currently lives in Orleans, and is working on his second collection. Fine reading for the Cape Cod lover. (M). $28.
