13363. (reprint photo) Life Saving Service Key Post & Boathouse, Believe to be Cape Cod c.1900. 8” x 10”. Interesting reprint from original provides an unusual scene. Photo includes an exceptionally rare view of a Life-Saving Service key-post with cast iron lock box. Just behind can be seen a boathouse near the cliff edge. The door is lettered “U.S.L.S.S.”. Interesting too is the mischievous Victorian visitor who is sitting atop the key post, his legs loosely tied with rope. Extremely rare view of key post. Believe that this view may be on Cape Cod c.1900. (VG+). $48.
