[paperweight] Large 7 1/4″ heavy glass dished paperweight / pin dish featuring an early c.1900 photograph image of the ”Peaked Hill Bar Life-Saving Station, Provincetown, Mass.” This rare item features an original period photograph of the life-saving station and out-buildings at this dangerous outer Cape Cod location. Includes pasted on description of the area on the bottom. Rare early Life-Saving Service photo image, clear, crisp, some foxing to margins but still quite displayable. Paperweight is unusually large and measures 7 ¼” x 4” x 1” h. Rare desirable Cape Cod Life-Saving Service piece. (VG). $145. Reduced $100.
