The station shown was built in 1914 to replace the old 1872 Expanded Red-House-Type station that was in danger of sliding into the sea. The Peaked Hill Bars station would later become home to playright Eugene O’Neill. Photo is a copy photo taken in the 1960’s from an original by A.C. Boxell. Measures 3 ½” x 5”. Distant view.
