1332. (blueprint) U.S. Light-House Service Tender Anemone. Plate No. 9 of 9 – Boiler. nd. c.1906. Scale 1” = 1’. Size 29” x 39”. Detailed architectural drawing shows good detail of the coal fired boiler tubes and piping for the Anemone. Print drawn and approved by the Light-House Board. The second Anemone–a lighthouse tender, was constructed in 1908 at Camden, N. J., for the Lighthouse Service. The Anemone served most of her career in the Second LHD out of Boston and Woods Hole. She was decommissioned in 1946. Print is white on blue, in excellent condition, clean, crisp, perfect for framing. (VG+). $68.
