8109wx5. [commissioning pennant] U. S. Navy/Coast Guard Commissioning Pennant. Official U. S. Coast Guard Commissioning Pennant No. 6 (2 ½”  h x 72”w). Pennant was flown from the mast-head on commissioning and is fresh, as new, never been flown. Made of  nylon – wool bunting by Annin &  Company. Field consists of red/white stripes, with 13 printed on blue stars on white field at the head. Pennant is in original packaging and dated 1971, and has never been flown.  Fresh, clean, extremely rare, this is a wonderful item for your display and quite difficult to get these original pennants. (F). $228 net.

8109-28. [commissioning pennant] U. S. Navy/Coast Guard Commissioning Pennant. Official U. S. Coast Guard Commissioning Pennant No. 7 (2 ¼”  h x 72”w). Pennant was flown from the mast-head on commissioning and is fresh, as new, never been flown, still in original paper packaging. Made of  nylon – wool bunting by Annin &  Company. Package marked “C.G. No. 7 Nylanin. Annin & Co.” Field consists of red/white stripes, with 13 printed on blue stars on white field at the head. Pennant is in original packaging and has never been flown.  Fresh, clean, extremely rare, this is a wonderful item for your display and quite difficult to get these original pennants. (F). $188.

Field consists of red/white stripes, with 13 printed on blue stars on white at the head. Pennant is probably WW II vintage and has never been flown. Included is the original packaging that indicates that it was manufactured by the American Flag & Banner Co.  Extremely rare, this is a wonderful item for your display and quite difficult to get these original pennants.
